Raikou,Entei and Suicune
Raikou, Entei and Suicine origins start with the Ecruteak city burned tower, which burned roughly 150 years prior to the events of Pokemon Gold and Silver. The tower burned down in a mysterious fire, ignited by a bolt of lightning and put out by a sudden downpour after. In it, three nameless Pokemon were caught with no escape and burned together with the tower.

After the tower burned,a rainbow appeared from the sky and the legendary Ho-oh appeared and used its power to resurrect the three pokemon whom died in the fire.Thus,these three legendaries were born from Ho-oh mystical powers and stil continue to roam the Johto region in search of peace.
