Spoons are one of the oldest utensils used by mankind,but even still not all of us know the creator of spoon.In olden days when the spoons were made of wood and was quite fashionable,they used to be the trend and thus this culture had spread across the globe.
There is no definitive time period that can be attributed with the invention of spoon.
However,archeological findings suggest that spoons with handles were used for ancient Egyptian religious purposes as early as 1000BC.Made out of ivory,wood ,flint and slate,these spoons were covered with ornate decorations and hieroglyphics.
