parents and teachers role in education

(1)
As the African proverb states, "It takes a village to raise a child." Parents and teachers only who knows the fact of this saying.

Parents or in some cases the guardian play an important role in the life of a child. As the child is born in this world, he is totally fresh with zero knowledge. the child doesn't know who he is, who are the people around him, why he/she is in this world, how he can proceed in life as a normal being, or what he should know in this life. Parents give the first training dose in morals, social relationships, safety awareness and in human behaviour using a traditional and simple way.

As the child grows up with  days, he starts understanding people and things. at that moment he is said to be permitted to proceed for a higher level of educating standards. the child learns the hard and easy way to get a good understanding of life matters as required.
(3)
during the transition period from home to school, parents always are there to assist teachers in conveying their message to the candidate. translation of the new protocols and standards for the candidate to facilitate in smooth adaptation and correct method of learning.
(4)

lack of knowledge from either side, the school or home, will bring a very big gap which won't be covered unless the candidate is smart enough to catch up and overcome the transition period.

parents should always consider the following;(5)

* never talk negatively about teachers or school.
* remember that school experience is a new thing to him/her and different from your own.
* get to know the school teacher and try to be as close as possible to monitor the progress.
* if the child has started successfully the first steps, encourage him/her for a continuous effort.

Education at its best is a partnership between children who want to learn, teachers who want to teach and parents who want their children to succeed. (6)

Child's performance can be monitored and regularly enhanced. sometimes the performance is not as actual as it's supposed to be, so parents have to take care of the following to provide a proper environment for their child;(6)
   • Sleep enough.
   • A good breakfast and a nutritious lunch.
   • Talk with your child.
   • Read to your child or let him or her see you reading.
   • Monitor the amount and type of television your child watched.
   • Ask your child about his or her school day and homework assignments.
   • Have you taken your child on a family field trip lately?
   • Are you a good role model?
