My Onboard experience

On May 2017 I joined my second ship Eagle Stavanger at Mobile,Alabama. This time I more confident compared to my first ship. This ship build in 2010 and quite good. All crew were very nice and friendly. I'm so lucky because my chief officer from Malaysia. He taught me very well regarding cargo operation and all officer really thought me about navigation.

This ship engaged in Lightering operation at Mexican Gulf. Quite hectic run for first 3 months. This ship chartered by ExxonMobil, Shell and Valero. After 3 month at Mexican Gulf, we proceeding to Venezuela, 7 days from US. Upon arrival we encounter a lot of fishing boat,I never experienced this kind of situation. After that we stuck in Venezuela for 2 weeks because of the cargo and immigration. Last day in Venezuela we conducted diving operation to make sure that no drugs and stowaway.

For this voyage instead of proceedings to Bahamas to discharge the cargo we received new voyage order to proceed to Italy. I'm quite excited because this is my first long voyage. It tooks almost 1 month to arrive at Italy along the way I could experienced heavy weather, calm sea and stary sky. Before arriving to Italy we stopped at Gibraltar for bunkering and after Italy we tramping around Europe for 2 month. I get opportunity to shore leave and that was a good experience.
